How much does it cost to host a studio day?
There is no charge, in fact you will raise money from sales! All we require is a deposit cheque of £50 per half day (4 hours) to reserve the mobile studio.
Will my deposit be returned?
Providing the studio day goes ahead, yes your deposit cheque will be returned to you. If you reschedule or cancel less than 7 days before you will be required to pay 100% of the deposit.
How many photographers are there?
Lyndsey James, proprietor and photographer at Muse Portrait Studio will be the photographer at your event. Sometimes her assistant may attend.
Can children be photographed with their siblings?
Of course, we simply recommend that adjacent bookings are made for each child. Max 3 Children
How will families place orders?
We upload the best 3 images of each child to a special page on our website. Using a unique code provided at the photo shoot, parents will be able to log onto our website and view their child’s photos just 1 week after their shoot. They will have 2 weeks to decide what they would like to order before the images are removed from the site and the Nurseries order is placed. 3 Weeks later the orders placed will be delivered to the Nursery for collection.
Orders can be placed securely online or over the phone by calling our studio in Newark.
Does that mean we can view all the other children’s photographs online?
No, the unique access code is private and only given to the parents. They can give that code to whoever they like although they are reminded that anyone with their code can view and order photographs of their child.
How will we promote the day?
We will provide you with invites for all the parents telling them how to reserve a free mini photo shoot for their child. We will also provide posters to display in your venue to promote the day.
Do you photograph all the children?
vNo, only those whose parents’ reserve a free photo shoot.
How will parents book their child’s photo shoot?
Parents will contact their school/nursery/play centre where a schedule of appointment times will be filled in.
How much money could we raise?
We will give 10% of the sales to the venue in the form of a cheque made payable to the venue or a charity. We do not issue personal cheques.
How much do the photographs cost?
Mounted print prices start at just £10. There are also package prices that reduce the cost per print to just £7.50. Wall hanging displays start at just £50. See product page
